On Wednesday the 22nd of May NUCB proposed a different kind of activity to its international students. Indeed, while the precedent cultural enrichment activities have focused of making the students Japanese culture, this time it was the turn of international students to present their culture!
The event took place at the local Sanbongi Kindergarten during the afternoon. The students made a short presentation of their country with pictures and songs to introduce it to the children. They also chit-chatted and played games together.
The point of the event was to allow young Japanese children to discover the world in a recreational way. For the students, it was a good opportunity to discover a part of Japanese life that wouldn’t be accessible to them.
This year six countries were presented and the afternoon was spent in good fun. Everyone went back home knowing a bit more about the world around them.
